Asheville Swing Night
Asheville Swing Night hosts swing dances in Asheville, NC on the second Friday of the month. We dance Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Charleston and Balboa. We hope you'll join us, whether you've never danced before or have danced for years. No partner necessary.
Each of our monthly dances includes your choice of two swing dance lessons (beginner and intermediate), followed by a social dance.

What is Swing Dancing?
Swing dancing is a joyful partner dance that grew out of the jazz era of the 1920s–1940s. It’s all about connection and having fun with the music - no experience required!
Each Asheville Swing Night dance starts with a beginner-friendly swing dance lesson where you'll learn simple steps that get you dancing right away. During the lesson most dancers rotate partners, making it a friendly and social way to meet new people and get comfortable in the room.
For couples, swing dancing is a fun and memorable date night. And if you come by yourself, don’t worry - this is a social dance, which means you can ask anyone to dance, and other dancers will often ask you!
Come experience the laughter, community, and pure joy that make swing dancing timeless.
